The Federation of Ottawa Chinese Canadian Organizations ( FOCCO ) is a provincial registered non–profit community oriented organization. It is founded in 1996. Now it has grown to be the largest Chinese community organization which is an umbrella organization that includes 39 groups from across the city, representing a wide spectrum of academic, social and cultural organizations. The main purpose of FOCCO is to promote the development of the Chinese community, encourage multicultural diversity, and facilitate the communications between the Chinese community and the mainstream society.
